LET’S MAKE MAGIC: LIGHT IT UP is an interactive make-and-take workshop that teaches students ages 8 and up the basics of graphic design and how to apply them to make a holiday card. After they finish, students will tinker with circuit basics to make their card light up! During the workshop, students will:

1. Learn how it works

2. Explore possibilities in the field

3. Find ways to use the technology

4. Learn how to use software

5. Design their own card

6. Have fun! 

All technology and basic materials are provided. No prior experience is required. Students are encouraged to bring a snack and a water bottle. **NOTE: For students signing up for both an AM and PM camp, no additional extended care fee is required. Students must pack a lunch. For students attending both camps, the workshop provides a different experience where they can apply their learned knowledge in a different form.**
